Artist or Pornographer

Is there a big difference between being an artist and a pornographer? I guess it depends upon your point of view. Artists create something that is usually visually stimulating. So do pornographers. Art and porn illicit a reaction from the viewer. How you react to either would determine which category it belongs in. Though there is a double standard for some mediums. For example, if I take a black and white picture of a nude model, it is considered art, but if I take the same picture in color, it is called porn. That doesn't seem right to me. now I obviously know that some porn can not be considered anything else but porn. Mostly the gonzo type. I guess I am just asking what do you think? Beauty is in the eye of the beerholder. Or is it?
